Remember all that bad news I bitched about in my last journal entry? Well, it got worse. And worse. So I cut it off at the source before it got the chance to cut me off. End result? I got used for five months and got over it in two days. "Forgetting comes easy--I never cared at all." But there've been a lot of things and a lot of people I've needed to forget.

Anytime those stupid little regret-like creatures creep up in my skull from one or another past mistake I kill them off with a line or two of a song and shit the bed but it works fucking wonders. There's quite a list, actually. Some of the more effective ones are as follows:

"I won't waste a moment thinking these thoughts. Forgetting comes easy--I never cared at all."

"But I'll find a way to make it. There's no one left to stop me."

"I'm sick of standing in your line so now you'll have to take it; take this to heart--I will never let you fuck me over!"

*sigh* At least I know I'll be single for MechaCon, eh? That always seems to be the place I find the best girls, anyway. Well. Mostly. Funny thing is that the ones outsidde of MechaCon just seem to glide me from one convention to the next. I think that's really some deep rooted longing for the first girl I met at the first con I went to. Damn. She really didn't fit in at all with the other girls I've liked or wanted. She was drug-free, not a slut (in fact, she was a virgin), she wasn't vain or superficial, she didn't have shitty taste in music, she didn't drink or yell or try to make me feel shitty... Wow. I really fucked up when I let her go.
